Who We Are

Moed in Texas—Sukkot is both a building of community through obedience to keep the Feasts of YHVH as prescribed in Torah and a ministry that initializes and maintains the platform for Feast (Sukkot) observance. Moed in Texas’ primary objective is to build a community of like-minded believers that desire to celebrate the entire Feast of Tabernacles together as we learn through worship, discussions, teaching and activities. We promote the study and obedience of Torah in an equal measure of walking in and listening to the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh). This is the beginning of worshipping the Father in Spirit and in Truth. Building and maintaining a platform of obedience and celebration is second to worshipping in Spirit and in Truth as the most important fulfillment of what we were created to accomplish.
Our goals for Sukkot, during any given year, is to promote our Messiah as King and Redeemer, establish true worship of the Father, restore Torah as a standard of lifestyle, and to teach lifestyle as prescribed in Torah and lived out by Yeshua (Jesus).
Moed in Texas—Sukkot is put together by may communities and congregations. It would be ineffective for one or two people to try and fulfill all the needs of an event like this. With this said, all leaders from other commnunities must have a relationship with Yeshua and evidence of a Torah lifestyle. If you have questions or concerns about who we are, we encourage you to go to the websites listed and then contact us.

We are HaBiet Messianic Congregation, Torahboat.com and Fallfeast.com.  We came together from several non-denominational, Hebraically minded Bible study groups that desire to participate in the exhortation of the larger community of YHVH, which is the body of Messiah. We have organized to facilitate events that enable individuals and groups to participate in the experience of keeping the Feasts of YHVH as prescribed in Torah (The first five books of the Bible).

Our objective is to help the community of scattered believers with the desire to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles together. We promote peace, harmony, study and obedience of Torah and the Testimony of Yeshua (Jesus) as our Messiah.  This is all balanced by walking in and listening to the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) and walking in the greater works of the Torah, Justice, Mercy and Faith. We proclaim that the Word of YHVH is true and that we are to worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

We facilitate, and organize the expenses for hosting a Feast site. We manage the expenses that are required for the physical infrastructure and production of the camp, web site, and for the speaker’s/musicians travel and stay to our area. We pay our own individual expenses to attend and as prescribed in Torah, we facilitate in assisting the widows/orphans and poor to attend with any donations we receive for that purpose.

Our goals for Sukkot during any given year, is to promote Yeshua our Messiah as King and Redeemer. To seek true worship of the Holy One of Israel, to restore Torah (God’s teaching and instruction) as a standard of lifestyle, to celebrate the gift of faith and our salvation which is given to us by our Creator freely, to promote the sanctification process (the personal heart search for leaven) setting the captives free, balanced with love to support the community of faith as it gathers to observe the moed (appointed time) of YHVH for the Feast of Tabernacles (booths).

We do not necessarily endorse all materials or content of public teachings of each speaker or praise team within the camp. We have attempted to invite speakers based on the direction we feel that we have received from the Holy Spirit. We trust that our Creator, and Heavenly Father will correct any and all teaching that needs it and ultimately bring Glory to His Kingdom.
